August 11, 2025, Manila, Philippines — Bakunawa Fest XI proudly announces Filipino-Canadian Mikey Bustos as its featured music artist for the section, Rytmo (Rhythms). Mikey's 2025 music videos are all genre-based. With his versatility, talent, music, charm, artistry and creative music videos, Bakunawa Fest took close notice. As featured artist, his music videos will be playing in all venues during the fest's run plus they're all featured in our website too. 
 

Mikey Bustos is a Canadian-born Filipino singer-songwriter, performer, comedian, actor, and online personality. Fondly dubbed the “Ambassador of Filipinos on the Internet,” he’s best known for his witty, Filipino-themed musical videos, both comedic and heartfelt, on YouTube and Facebook.
 

His career first caught public attention in 2003, when he placed as 7th runner-up in the very first season of Canadian Idol. That same year, he earned a Canadian Gold Record after the Canadian Idol compilation album, released under SONY/BMG Canada, sold over 60,000 copies nationwide.​
