Bakunawa Festival 12 closes with a powerful trio of films! Hur Bum-Wook’s Pig That Survived Foot and Mouth Disease (Southeast Asian premiere), Seb Valdez’s Si Sir Kag ang Gamay nga Bata, and Gerardo Maravilla’s Enseñame Como Morir (Show Me How To Die) making its Asian premiere); each confronting survival and mortality through distinct cinematic voices from Republic of Korea, the Philippines, and the United States. Together, these works offer resonant final images as Bakunawa Fest 12 concludes its run in Manila.
